Job Corps graduates are the trained entry-level workers you've
been looking for. They are young men and women who have overcome
challenges. They have taken control of their lives and completed
job, education, and life skills training. They have learned
discipline as well as problem solving, goal setting, and the
flexibility businesses need to meet the challenges of today's
economy.

It is our goal to work closely with employers to match our training
to the specific skills employers need. Springdale Job Corps Center
invites employers to meet with the center Business and Community
Liaison to discuss industry-specific training. Whether it is the
addition of a new vocation to the center offerings or an addition
to an existing vocation, we are interested in working with you to
meet your hiring needs.
Employers are encouraged to join the SJCC Industry Advisory Council
which meets twice each year to review local labor market
information, to identify employment opportunities in the community,
and to evaluate center training.
Representatives of business, civic, and educational organizations,
elected officials, law enforcement agencies, and other service
providers can also help guide center community involvement by
joining the Community Relations Council. This committee meets every
quarter to discuss opportunities for students to participate in
community service projects and to discuss issues of mutual interest
to the center and to the community.
